Archbishop Wilton Gregory recently said that “Domestic violence occurs in affluent homes as well as in poor ones. It can be physical and verbal. It speaks every language and can be found in every cultural context. It deserves our attention, our prayers and our resolve to address it.” The Archdiocesan Mass for Domestic Violence Awareness Month will be celebrated by Bishop Luis Zarama and hosted by Holy Cross Catholic Church on Saturday, October 25, at 5:00 pm. Holy Cross is located at 3175 Hathaway Court, NE, Atlanta 30341. Mass will be interpreted in American Sign Language. For information, contact justpeace@archatl.com or 404-920-7898.
