Faith Formation Class fee is $110 , $40 per child if you volunteer as a catechist!
VIRTUS TRAINING Protecting God's Children
October 1 & 5, 2014:
Protecting God's Children is the Safe Environment Training Program required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta for all students in parish faith formation programs. Parents and other interested adults are encourages to visit www.archatl.com/offices/ocyp/senviroment/parents.html. Username is SEtraining and the password is Virtus. Children will be shown a short video and the complete age appropriate activities to reinforce the message. Parents must give permission for their children to participate in this training.
Forms will be sent home on the first day of class. You may opt out of this if you so choose. If your child is not here, he will be considered absent for the training. Families who opt out will do other work on the scheduled day of training. Parents are encouraged to attend as well. Separated & Divorced Catholics Group:
Meets at Saint Monica's-
We use a workshop/support group format for weekly meetings which are held Thursdays from 7:00-8:30pm in the Faith Formation Building.
There are periodic social events where one can find fellowship and strengthen new friendships.
We invite separated and divorced Catholics from any/all of our neighboring Catholic communities.
Please invite any family or friends who may benefit from this group. All are welcome.

This group addresses the specifically Catholic issues that separated and divorced men and women face. Specifically, the annulment process, the sacraments and Church teachings on divorce are covered.

Grief Support Group, Healing Hearts:
Support, love and compassion, this is what you will experience in Healing Hearts Grief Support Group. If you are a parishioner grieving the death of a loved one, join together to pray, reflect, and share your loss. This Archdiocese approved 12 week program is based on “Understanding Your Grief, Ten Essential Touchstones For Finding Hope and Healing Your Heart”, by Dr. Alan Wolfelt.
Start date Saturday, September 20, 2014 through Saturday January 17, 2015. (There will be no Saturday sessions over the Holy days/holidays.)
Course materials $27.00, and commitment to the 12 week workshop.
