Our many Parish Organizations are successful because of the dedication of those who organize and serve the community through their good works. Please join one or more of the organizations below. |

| Men's Spirituality Group: All men of the parish (18 and older) are invited to join others on the 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:30PM to 9:00PM. The themes are : Becoming a Man in Faith, Becoming the Christian Man God and your Family wants you to be. How to be Catholic Christian in today's world. Listen to other men tell of their journeys and their experiences. Discussions allow men to discuss critical issues facing them in today's society. |
| Parish Welcome Committee: This group organizes and facilitates a quarterly potluck dinner to welcome all new members to our parish. This is a great opportunity for those who are limited on time and unable to commit to weekly meetings but would like to be involved on a semi-annual basis. Dinners are normally in August and January. |
| New Horizons: New Horizons is a group of widowed, divorced, separated, and single women, mostly senior citizens. Our goals are fun and friendship. We get together regularly (once or twice a month) to see plays, movies, musicals, and interesting places around Atlanta and North Georgia, usually in the daytime rather than evenings. We always have either lunch or dinner together while we're out. Some of us live alone and really enjoy each other's company for these meals. Although this is similar to the 55 Plus Group, it fulfills a different need; women who generally had spouses previously and now can get together with other women in a similar situation. Some of our members are new to the area and living with their adult children, and do not know women of their own age group or have a means of meeting them. This group provides a way to connect, either in person or just over the telephone. |
| Secular Franciscan Order: Secular Franciscans are members of a local fraternity, a living and active Christian community. SFO members strive to live the Gospel in the manner of St. Francis of Assisi by spreading the Gospel by word, and example in their homes, at work and in the parish. If you are searching for a way to renew your baptismal commitment, to deepen your relationship with the Lord, and give witness to the Kingdom of God, the Lord may be inviting you to consider a vocation as a Secular Franciscan. |

Sponsor Couples This select group of married couples assists the Clergy of the parish in preparing engaged couples for marriage or remarriage. Engaged couples are pared with older and more experienced couples (who have been married at least 5 years) who lead them through five discussion sessions designed to address the most significant areas of growth necessary to make strong, faith-centered Catholic marriages. Training is required for Sponsor Couples, and is provided by the Parish. |
| St. Vincent de Paul Society (Click Here for Details) A uniquely challenging and particularly rewarding ministry of service to the lesser advantaged within our own parish territory. The sustaining spirituality of the Society enables its members to reach out in coordinated efforts to lift-up the temporarily needy. This is a "hands-on" ministry that is both practical and persuasively spiritual. Vincentians are as much served by their ministry as they serve others. This is the premier front line parish effort that puts into practice the rich social justice message of the Gospel. |
| Parish Prayer Chain: This group of parishioners receives prayer requests for special intentions and prays in their homes through the end of each month for the intentions requested. There are no meetings to attend, which makes this a wonderful opportunity for those who otherwise would be unable to participate in a ministry. |
