Elementary

There are two components of the Religious Education Program
for grades 1-8.

Attend classes during the week for just one semester or complete their course in the home study program. Each class has no more than 15 young people with two catechists. Each session is 90 minutes in length.

2. Attend 8 LIFE Events offered throughout the year with
parent.

Semester One August - December

Tuesdays      4:30 - 6:00     or     6:30 - 8:00
       OR
Wednesdays   4:30 - 6:00   or    6:30 - 8:00

Semester TWO January - May

Tuesdays Only 4:30 - 6:00 or 6:30 - 8:00

HOMESTUDY

Families desiring this option must be committed to spending weekly time in preparation along with time for discussion with their child for the “in home” sessions.

The program requires:

* Attend the parent meeting in the Fall

* Quarterly turn in of assignments

* Attendance to 8 LIFE Events with parent

An interview at the end of the year with the Religious Education staff .

Families who select this option should indicate “Home Study” as their desired session on the registration form.

The second requirement of religious education for grades 1-8 is attendance at 8 LIFE. events with their parents. We offer at least 15 LIFE events each year. You will find a brochure with detailed listings of all LIFE events on the Information Counter of the Religious Education building. We suggest you plan early to attend the events most appealing to your family.

Calendars are available on the Information Counter in the Religious Education building. In addition completion of class, all students in grades1-8 are required to attend 8 LIFE Events with parent.
