Sacramental Preparation 2008-2009

Dear Parents: Welcome to an opportunity to share the most important gift your child will ever receive...Faith. These meetings are designed to help parents renew their sense of faith and commitment to the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. We will offer ways to enhance your ability to give expression to your faith as you share it with your child. During this special time you and your family will be given concrete opportunities to help you grow closer to Jesus as a family through participation in the sacraments.

This preparation program is a stand-alone module separate from the weekly religious classes and parent participation is mandatory.   These meetings are for parents only.  Child care will not be available.

Parents of eligible children in regular religious education class, Catholic School, Home School and Home Study, (see LIFE policy book for clarification) MUST attend one each of the 3 scheduled meetings. For your convenience we offer 3 choices for each meeting. There are no make up meetings, just the times offered below. In addition a parent and child must attend the assigned rehearsal for1st Eucharist. Most importantly we must have a copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate in hand no later than December 1, 2008.
