St. Monica’s Pro-Life Ministry is dedicated to educating our parish community about all respect-for-life issues. This vital ministry promotes and supports the Catholic Church’s teachings by participating in Pro-Life activities (Life Chain, Respect Life Month, March for Life, etc) and various outreach and support groups throughout our diocese ( Project Rachel, PATH, homes for unwed mothers, Birthright, Right to Life, ministries to the homebound and families dealing with end of life issues). The Pro-Life ministry participates in educational events such as Natural Family Planning and chastity education programs. This ministry is dedicated to defending life from the first moment of conception through natural death.
