Welcome to the Catholic Church of St. Monica

Bishop Desinord Jean of Hinche, Haiti, has given Fr. Jean Navarre Bourdeau a new assignment to our Lady of Fatima Parish in Bassin Zim effective March 17. Please pray for Fr. Bourdeau during this time of transition, which will be a challenge for both the parish of Sacred Heart and our parish, as he has served there faithfully and fruitfully for eighteen years. We wish to thank Fr. Bourdeau for this generous service, hospitality, kindness, prayerfulness, and friendship.   We should also pray for Fr. Faublas Louis, who will succeed Fr. Bourdeau as a pastor of Sacred Heart.  We at Saint Monica look forward to continuing our wonderful relationship with the parishioners at Sacred Heart and and people in Hinche, Haiti, as we bid farewell to Fr. Bourdeau and welcome Fr. Louis.     In Christ, Fr. Jack
